Grammy nominated sacred music composer, recording artist, multi-instrumentalist, and ecstatic vocalist, Jai Uttal has been leading, teaching and performing kirtan around the world for close to 50 years, creating a safe environment for people to open their hearts and voices.

Join Jai Uttal and RamDev for an exciting reunion and conversation! Listen as they revisit their time together in India and what teachings and stories still resonate with them today. There will be chanting with Jai at either the beginning or end of the event. This will be a special opportunity to learn, hang out, and sing with longstanding members of the Neem Karoli Baba satsang.
A Private zoom link will be provided upon registration and we kindly ask that you do not share it as this is a fundraising event for Living/Dying Project. The event will be recorded and a replay link will be sent to all registrants within 48 hours of the event.
A portion of the proceeds will go to sustain the ongoing work of the Living/Dying Project.

Jai Uttal is a Grammy-nominated musician, kirtan singer, and pioneer in world music. With a career spanning over 30 years, Jai has been a leading figure in blending Eastern and Western musical traditions, creating a unique fusion of sacred sounds, devotional music, and spiritual practice. His deep love for Bhakti Yoga, the yoga of devotion, shines through his heartfelt performances and recordings, inviting audiences into a space of unity, love, and inner peace. He spent time with Neem Karoli Baba in India back in the 1970s, and the practice of kirtan is a way for him to reconnect with Maharaj-ji and Love.
Jai’s music combines traditional Indian instruments with Western influences, creating a universal sound that transcends cultural boundaries. He has released numerous acclaimed albums, including Nectar of Devotion and Roots, Rock, Rama!, and continues to inspire global audiences through his live kirtans, workshops, and online offerings.
RamDev Dale Borglum, Ph.D. is the founder and Executive Director of the Living/Dying Project. For over 40 years, RamDev Dale Borglum has worked with the dying. Together, Dale, Stephen Levine, and Ram Dass taught workshops throughout the country addressing topics on aging, suicide, healing, spiritual practice, conscious living and dying, and so much more. They worked with thousands as they faced various personal crises. He is a seasoned practitioner in both meditative and devotional traditions, and continues to use his wealth of experience and the teachings passed down to him to offer support for others.
Current Living/Dying Project volunteers, and clients who are working with volunteers,
may attend for free and are encouraged to donate what they are able.
